Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Management: Oversee all aspects of the boarding program, ensuring a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment for all students.
  • Student Well-Being: Implement programs and initiatives that promote the emotional, mental, and physical well-being of students within the boarding community.
  • Staff Development: Lead and support boarding staff in their roles, providing training and guidance to ensure high standards of care and support.
  • Parental Communication: Maintain open lines of communication with parents, keeping them informed about their child’s progress and well-being.
  • Community Engagement: Foster a sense of community within the boarding environment, encouraging involvement in school activities and events.
  • Crisis Management: Address and manage any issues or crises that may arise, ensuring the safety and well-being of all students.
  • Policy Development: Develop and enforce policies that promote a positive boarding experience, emphasizing respect, responsibility, and personal growth.
Qualifications:
  • Master's in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field
  • Bachelor's degree in Education
  • Proven experience in an international school boarding
  • Strong understanding of adolescent development and student well-being.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with staff, students, and parents.

We're looking for a compassionate, vibrant, and dynamic individual to join our team as a Hostel Warden. As a guardian of our hostel, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the lives of our students, fostering a sense of community, and creating unforgettable memories.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide pastoral care and support to students, ensuring their physical, emotional, and mental well-being.
  • Create a warm, inclusive, and respectful environment that promotes diversity, equity, and social responsibility.
  • Develop and implement engaging programs and activities that encourage socialization, teamwork, and personal growth.
  • Ensure the hostel's rules and regulations are respected, maintaining discipline and order while being approachable and empathetic.
  • Collaborate with the management team to address student concerns, resolve conflicts, and make informed decisions.
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and communication with parents/guardians, teachers, and other stakeholders.
Qualification
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., education, psychology, social work).
  • Proven experience in a similar role or working with young adults.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
